You truly cannot say you know our owner, ANGELO BAIO unless you spent an evening with him around a campfire. Growing up on Long Island, NY and having been immersed in the fishing and hunting culture from an early age you can understand when he says that the outdoors is in his blood.

Like most young boys growing up in a suburban neighborhood, finding an avenue for his outdoor passions was difficult but he somehow always found a hidden pond to ambush waterfowl or a place to hang a deer stand.

As he grew the passion for bigger and more exciting adventures grew with him. The “adventure is in the experience” is his motto chasing one more dream after another with the dawn of every new season.

Angelo strongly believes that the future of our sport and devotees of conservation will come from the lessons we teach our children. As a result and for the last eighteen years, Angelo has volunteered his time to the State of New York as a youth waterfowl hunter educator.

Like many outdoorsmen Angelo dreamed of expressing his adventures in print. Encouraged by legendary outdoorsman Larry Weishuhn, Angelo published his first magazine article that lead to an amateur career as a writer. Angelo also dabbled in hunting television which fueled the fire for producing engaging film that later paved the way for his latest project with the Wild Sheep Foundation in a TV pilot called the LEGACY.

Taking his skill as an wildlife educator and youth conservation mentor, Angelo became the creator and emissary of the LEGACY Club whose primary goal is to deliver the message of paying tribute for the outdoor experience. Followers can express their gratitude for a hunt and the wildlife with the placement of LEGACY Stone marker and share the experience with family and friends on the LEGACY Club web page.
